Escape from LA
On saturday the thermometer read 106 degreeees here in Highland Park. On Sunday and monday again it hit 110. I don't know if this a fluke, or a sign of things to come, but I can't take it.The other night Mary and I were watching Peyton Place, which was kind of silly, but it had some scenes set in the winter...I was sitting in a pool of sweat and whined something about "snow!" Mary says, "it's only fake snow." Looked good to me...
