It's really amazing that they were all able to just walk in and record / mix it like that. They just run the track assuming Eddie will walk right in on time? What if he was late?... that's right - trick question. Eddie would never be late. 100% professional.
It's his moustache, I think. It contains a homing beacon: "FIND RICK JAMES NOW NOW NOW NOW." He had no choice in the matter.
